Purpose
captcha-solver is an API for solving CAPTCHAs programmatically. It is designed for legitimate automation: testing your own applications, CI/CD pipelines, accessibility tools, and data collection that complies with the target resource's Terms of Service and applicable law. This policy defines what is permitted and what is not.
Permitted use
- Testing and quality assurance of applications you own or are authorized to test.
- Automation of workflows on services that permit automation under their own terms.
- Accessibility tools that help users with visual or cognitive impairments.
- Data collection (scraping) that complies with the target site's Terms of Service and all applicable laws, including those of the jurisdiction where the target site operates.
Prohibited use
Bypassing security without authorization
- Bypassing CAPTCHAs or other security measures on third-party sites in violation of their Terms of Service.
- Credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Circumventing rate limits or access controls designed to protect third-party systems.
Illegal activity
- Any use that violates applicable laws, including those of the jurisdiction where the target service operates, regardless of where you are located.
- Identity theft, fraud, or impersonation.
- Distribution of malware or malicious content.
Spam and abuse
- Sending unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
- Mass creation of accounts for abuse purposes.
- Artificially inflating traffic, clicks, or engagement metrics.
Jurisdictional responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of captcha-solver complies with all applicable laws, including the laws of your own jurisdiction and the laws of the jurisdiction where the target service is located. Ignorance of applicable law is not a valid defense.
Monitoring
We reserve the right to monitor API usage to detect abuse patterns. User data is not shared with third parties except as required by law or a valid legal process.
Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in immediate account suspension, termination of access to the service, and, where applicable, reporting to relevant authorities.
Updates
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
